Jared Carver, a young teenager, who is trying to deal with the recent divorce of his parents, in addition to battling the demons which plague him after being abused by a family friend, who is also his psychiatrist. Jared begins having visions of a small boy and after a recent visit to see his doctor, he closes himself off to the people who care about him most: his family. Finally, Jared’s mother decides he needs a break and, accompanied by his brother and two neighbor boys, the family heads out for a vacation getaway. As the visions of the boy become more vivid and dark forces begin to churn around the group of vacationers, Jared becomes the key to survival. What lies beneath Haven Hill? And what will it take for Jared and the others to get out alive?
