Details:

This “Pacemaker” (production number K6-5, or the fifth entry of the 1946-47 production season) sets out to prove that beauty and dumbness doesn’t equate. The women covered in this short are Jinx Falkenburg, actress, model, broadcaster and highly-ranked amatuer Tennis player; flyer Jacqueline “Jackie” Cochran, who held many flying records for women and was the head of the Women’s Army Auxiliary Flying corps in WW II; and writer Eve Curie, daughter of the discoverers of radium.
