Thanatos (2016)

“Thanatos” is and independent sci fi/horror/romance full length film about a young scientist who is in deep depression after the loss of his girlfriend. Worst yet, he carries a deep guilt for never being able to tell her exactly how he feels. He ingests an experimental drug named “Thanatos” to induce a state of near death and travel to the afterlife in order to say to his departed girlfriend words he wished he would have said while she lived.
