Sebastian, a laconic, withdrawn and unemployed man in his twenties, creates his own, fictitious workplace in an abandoned factory, a workshop that brings a measure of meaning to his drab existence. The workshop draws the attention of Pimentel, an old carpenter who also finds refuge in Sebastian’s invention. A deeply ambiguous place, the workshop comes to have an unexpected significance for the two. |
