Spending their last summer together in the small town in which they grew up, five childhood friends set a vow to make the most of their time while they still can. In an attempt to make the remaining few weeks as unique and memorable as possible, they decide to venture to an array of famous “haunted” locations for which their town is notorious and capture their experiences there on tape. While spending a night at the legendary “Bracket Road”, a stretch of abandoned highway well-known for being the stomping-grounds for the mythical creatures known as “the Melon Heads”, they come across something far more terrifying then anything they could have expected. Unbeknownst to them, these woods have become the sacred site for a Satanic cult’s secret gatherings and dark rituals… and they have arrived right in the middle of one of them. Drawn in by their own curiosity, the five watch in horror as the cult members prepare to sacrifice a young woman who is obviously involved against her own will. The friends attempt to escape unnoticed but are quickly discovered by the cut-members, bringing the ritual to a halt and resulting in the violent shooting of the young woman. The group manages to flee the scene unharmed, but soon start to suspect that prominent members of their own town may in-fact be directly involved with the cult. With nobody they can trust, they keep the secrets of that night to themselves. However, they are now the focus of the cults attention. The ritual still needs to be completed and a sacrifice must be selected. With nowhere to go and not a soul they can turn to, the five are violently stalked down before they can spread the word of what they saw!
