With New York State’s famous Hotel Concord in the Catskills as the background, Jimmy Demaret, golf-pro from Texas, gives some golfing instructions to the vacationing-actress Jean Carmen. Demaret, winner of many tournaments on the PGA Tour (and loser of many he could have won if he has been as serious as Ben Hogan or Sammy Snead), gets close and shows Miss Carmen some valuable tips in driving, putting, how-to-play-short holes, proper grip-control and swinging. Demaret, also known as the Golf Pro to the Stars, was also one of the top swingers away from the golf course. |
