In the middle of the 14th century at the border crossing to the county of Württemberg: The two guard soldiers Volckel and Utz cannot agree on whether the plague ordinance brought into force by King Charles IV makes sense. Is this novel disease really as bad as everyone says? And does it make sense to close the borders right away because of it?
