The clown wants to change the world by making it smile. Bombay Joker is an account of happenings that take place when the city and the man cross each others paths. As the clown comes to Bombay to examine the city and feel its pulse in order to make it smile again on a request made by someone he dozen?? know, he discovers the city is slowly resurrecting itself from the debris of threat and insecurity. Life starts coming back to normal and the clown sees his dream being shattered, an opportunity lost. As he comes to terms with the fact that the city no more needs him and that he will have to wait for another opportunity to make it big, he leaves the city but not before bowing before its spirit.
