I’d hardly get emotional over a Vice story, but is anyone surprised they are deflecting from the crimes of those on the client list, and hence protecting child abusers?

So many comments and not a single one about this show yet. I’ll be the 1st. Enjoyable enough, if you aren’t already tired of the glut of Star Wars stuff out there.

The first Deadpool was good but the second was off the mark for me. So we will have to wait to see how it does. :)

Deadpool & Wolverine will probably make up for all of their loses last year by itself.

i was speaking of Disney films not the Disney dynasty; but ya, I agree, you can get too much of a good thing.

Disney stock is up 10% for the last 12 months. Their streaming service just posted their 1st positive quarterly earnings report with $47 million in profit. The recent board of directors vote saw the stockholders voting to keep all 12 board members. Revenue at their theme parks is up as well. Yes, they struggled at the box office last year with some notable flops, but it will take more than that to sink them and just as they have done in other areas of their business recently, I’m fairly confident they will find a way to correct course.

I do agree that they are milking the hell out of the Star Wars license and the franchise is suffering for it, but I feel the same about Marvel, Star Trek and many other popular franchises. You can get too much of a good thing.

Those who do not remember the past are condemned to repeat it. Nazi’s wiped out more than 95% of my family. After they got away with that atrocity, those that didn’t successfully flee to Argentina were officially smuggled to both the U.S.S.R. and the U.S.A. Lest we forget it could happen again. We are dangerously close on our planet to this atrocity again. This is why this passage of history must be repeatedly told. The camps must remain standing. History must not ever be repeated. It may or may not be Jews next time. Ask the Kurds. Ask the Armenians. Ask the Roma. Ask the Irish. Ask the Scots why their culture, their language, their colors, their history was so hated & threatening that death was invited upon them. Ask all 6000+ different Aboriginal American Nations what the consequences are when society is convinced by vicious political cults that genocide is the answer. And yes, everybody. Palestinians. Chinese. Polynesians. Amazonians. Everybody. But thanks once again for deliberately avoiding any direct contact as if to imply something adversarial and to make clear that my voice & my testimony are invaluable & unworthy of acknowledgement - which I can take as hateful antisemitic prejudice. A denier made a post, a short one, that is an attack on reality, So the point of the response to that denial of reality is this:

Nazism happened. It is innately evil without any value at all, but it is an extension of atrocities that have been carried out by the cult of politics in various forms in a struggle for the political class to assert itself over everyone else. The political class has demonstrated that it is a genocidal cult whether it manifests in germany against the Jewish population, or in The U.S. against anyone not white, or in Australia & Canada, or the many oceanic islands, or The British Isles. Everywhere. It is undeniable that the cult of politics time & again serves no one but itself and frequently genocide is a tool employed to eliminate those who stand against the political cult. This is stated very clearly. That I have to expand an already lengthy post to a longer one to qualify what was previously written isn’t good.

This has happened to so many people all over our planet, but many of these genocides are swept under the rug as if they are somehow less important. They are not. Each instance is an atrocity, whether it was committed by Hitler, Andrew Jackson, chemical Ali, Israel, or anyone else. It is a stain upon humanity. and anyone who denies these atrocities is complicit in them. Satisfied? Squeeze that out of the Holocaust denier OP. With a few words, they stirred a vile brew yet never apologized or retracted their original statement. It stands, untouched as a testament of malignant anti-human hate.

Being a young 50 something I saw the original Star Wars in theaters when it came out. I may be in the minority but I have no need to watch the 100 prequels that have come out since. I really don’t want to know why the characters became what they are. It ruins the mystery for me. I’m still a fan though. May the force be with you all.

Another snoozefest episode that went nowhere. I hoped this show would get more exciting, but it still hasn’t. Will give it one or two more episodes seeing as I’ve already made it this far.

Which sucks as it hurts Martin in the long run. I don’t see after what Will did to Chris Rock, how Hollywood is still making movies with him.

Not only is Disney going down the toilet with repeat failures in recent years, but it is taking the StarWars franchise with it. No one under 30 could be convinced that this new show is related in any way to the original film series. The actors do not even have that Jedi reserve of character. The dialogue is all wrong, and visually it feels too low budget (crappy green screen work). And what was that poppycock that the bad guy was spewing at the end of episode one. Disney is going to milk the StarWars franchise for all it can with each new series it creates, but that does not make them part of the StarWars universe. George Lucas brought StarWars to life, but with each new series that Disney creates it feels less and less like the original trilogy. Is this newest television series worthy of StarWars affiliation, absolutely not. Let’s just hope the acting improves and the story gets better.

Why only two episodes? I think it’s a very bad choice to release only two episodes. I think they should have released the whole first season all at once. Just because the show is so bad well it looks so bad that I don’t want to wait another eight episodes of suffering just to come to the conclusion that it really is that bad. I think if they had at least released all the episodes at once then I would have been satisfied and happy with that.
