i want one…
i reckon the logic was a bit flawed about getting rid of the thingie.. but also a dubious test by made by someone who found the thingie first from people who inhabited the thingie.. seems like a weak door..
but i think they did well, some pretty huge arcs to tie up, a little soppiness which wasnt too trite and though the slow motion positivity was a bit extended for my taste, it’s nice to pay gratitude to everyone involved, you dont see that often and integrated into a finale. discovery was a great addition to the pantheon imo.
“life itself is meaning enough”
Marian Richman does more voice work with Mel in this remake of The Fair-Haired Hare done the previous year. Animators often redid their own work, but this time McKimson redid his boss Friz Freleng’s work.
This is the last of 4 toons with Beaky Buzzard. Writer Ted Pierce also does some voice work with Marian Richman who worked with everyone from Sinatra to Jack Webb.
history channel has changed the air date of this episode to TBD. rumour is it will air after the best of american pickers ends
Freleng created Yosemite Sam since he thought Elmer Fudd was too soft & stupid to go against streetwise Zen Bugs Bunny. Because of that, it’s even funnier when Bugs one-ups him constantly. This is one of the voices Mel’s son Noel Blanc couldn’t do since he said it nearly put his tonsils on the floor.
If anyone remembers Friday The 13th The Series, this has former actress Robey in it- who happens to be the mother of the future Duke of St. Albans, heir of the 17th Earl of Oxford, Edward, who is thought to be one of those behind the authorship of works attributed to Shakespeare, such as Francis Bacon.
Why do I have a feeling that the guy with the glasses that seems to be running everything in the background that has a collection of stuff, like Sisko’s baseball, Geordie’s visors, and a few other things, and named himself as ‘Agent (can’t remember now)’ from the Enterprise, can be only Odo? Guy was a shapeshifer, and was for all intents and purposes immortal, so he could easily have blended into Starfleet for all of those centuries, and would up holding positions of trust and power. And it would explain the collections…
Love or hate Jimmy, you have to feel for what the family has gone through with their son.
Hmm. This Billy Burke is obviously not THEE Billy Burke, Glinda The Good from The Wizard Of Oz & wife of Flo Ziegfeld. Hmm. Hmm. Okie dokie. Christopher Posey’s twin sister Parker Posey is also in this. Our fav Danny Glover flick hands down is the Shakespearean Tempest retelling From Above with Chelsea Ricketts.
I can finally stop watching this horrible show! I was only watching for Justin anyways.
Thank you both for turning me onto this director! Stinking Heaven sounds gut wrenching and maybe some day I’ll be up for it. Exit Elena sounds like a fresh film experience. I gather this director is into absurdism mixed with realism? Is that right? I look forward to watching his films!

Don’t know that title either, but thank you for the Exit Elena recommendation ✔

Great screwball version of Daffy as imagined by Jerry Lewis director Frank Tashlin, and carried out by McKimson. Totally rude & pushy, he & Porky made a good comedy team.
i also enjoyed exit elena (i think its because ive had a similar experience and the film is a bit of therapy of the absurd)
also i think the mother in exit elena is nathan silvers mother if i remember, and she does such a great role

Obscure but dig this Nathan Silver.

If one is a counselor, it can make for odd viewing habits. This is one of those. Well cast for this subject, but Catherine O’Hara, Richard Jenkins & Ken Howard are gold compared to some of the mumblecores they’re cast with.
the 14 points..oh yes,the ones, once germany agreed to them, the allies told, they are no longer valid…yes, that 14 points.
poland wasnt existing on the maps prior to the war,but wilson had a huge polish voter communtiy back in USA..so just cut 1/3 of germany off to create a new nation.
all the mess on the balkans, a leftover of wilsons points, because they dismantled the habsburg empire too…VERY intelligent of this guy
Miss Larraine Newman as Connie, but at least she’s Laarta, Connie’s aunt played by now retired Michelle Burke. McKean is a rotten bad guy, but Beldar is the man!
ooph, tortuously present and absent at the same time at the same time… reminds my of nathan silvers’ films https://www.primewire.tf/filter?crew=Nathan%20Silver torturously tort urous ly
I like the originality of this series. I thank whoever put this on my recommended list! It’s a welcome break from my usual ghosty and scary type viewing. It feels good to laugh and there is the right amount of goofiness here. I will give it a hearty thumbs up for those who like sit-coms.
agreed.. the classic master slave dialectic.. ooh i just learned that creel was with wilson in france and somehow contributed to the 14 points, makes sense.. according to wikipedia there was a 16 person group contingent from the CPI including barnays and were part of a ‘publicity group’.. and barnays caused a scandal by mentioning the word propaganda in print in a positive sense. heres some irony.. apparently churchill advocated using mustard gas to quash kurdish uprising in iraq, then british mesopotamia/ kurdish state around 1919/1920. despite promising them land! then bombed them 1923.. maybe irony isnt the right word also.. not sure entirely of the complex history there..

im so glad they did not cram everything in a hour. this was a good two hour final.
“before Democracy collapses in europe”….
never laughed more about an official “reason” to entering a war one has NO connection to apart from his financial gains to get..
this nation is so hypocrit, its priceless! first they fuel the war for nearly four years through delivering the goods to fight and slaughter its youth, and when the dividends for the lenders are in danger to be lost, one needs “to rescue democracy” :) hillarious!
and democracy? well, russia wasnt a democrcy, italy too not, britain has its one very special kinda democracy(king and nobelty and all) and france wanted to retaliate for its war on germany of 1870….
USA just wanted to reap its gains from the war, thats all!
Considering Americans were killing Americans, in my opinion, it was the worst.
compare the civil war to the 30 years war in Germany and get your perspectives right….
it was a “civil war” then too, about religious views interacted with political standpoints and neighboring countries interfering
It lost me when the president said they would be sending son to fight in a war a 1000 miles away
Debauchery up the wazoo. Grim ending.

(if you’re into debauchery and Johnny Depp)
That’s the best place to have debauchery!! ;) LOL The ending was fairly close to factual though…well, reported facts that made the books.
I watch this movie a few times a year as a reminder of what it means to be “True to Thyself”. It’s Heartfelt, funny, sad and most of all, Honest.
100/10✨I’m part Native American. These people are my Spirit Family. It is very painful to hold the awareness of what they offered, and what was given in return. I despise western culture. It is a parasite, which will be responsible for our species’ extinction. And it learns nothing, from it’s endless consumption, and all the suffering which it causes. I’d give my life, for my brothers and sisters. Life, which society doesn’t even recognize… as having value. Well, look at your world now. Where’s your value? These people have true wisdom. And love for ALL life. Even yours. If you like this one, check out “The Wave.” Beautiful… and sad, as well. But valuable.
Just stumbled across this and it started on March 24th. All episodes have dropped, so this is going on my list to watch.
Why didn’t you just watch it first and then leave a review? Asking for a friend…
Was that a bit of Dalek foreshadowing right at the end there? I feel like it was, but not sure.
A boy can hope.
Haha exactly what i was thinking LOL Happy Hallowhaa..?? WTH🎃 ?
I mean ANY Smiling Friends is good Smiling Friends though. The creators probably pine for Halloween all year long like some friends of mine do so this was their chance to focus on Halloween mid-year lol.
put a ring on this one !!!!!! great job from the j -low
