I agree with the Librarian. It’s bizarre that these people are attacking library books, when such young children have access to much worse on the internet via phones and tablets.
The season-long story arc format here puts me in mind of another show I really loved back in the distant day - “Wise Guy.” I liked this format then, and now. When done well, you really get to dig down into the bad guys and strange motives. On this show especially, things are happening on many fronts that manage to tie in together well, even when in unexpected ways. Right now, I’m enjoying gorgeous favorite Stephen Lang, who never fails, even when playing someone who’s in the wrong, to make me want to root for some aspect of his character. I liked him as the young gun in “Crime Story,” the arch-dicque in “Terra Nova” and “Avatar,”and I still like him today. His scenes with Stabler are great here.
The guy that is going to pick up the inmate named Candice says, it is so expensive to date an inmate. It’s I said to myself no dude you are buying an inmate. I don’t think this relationship is going to go very well.
This film is such an underrated film two great filmmakers working together to bring us one heck of an entertaining film that harkens back to seventies and eighties grindhouse American cinema.
In my opinion this special is his second best after live at red rocks. Very high up energy and good jokes
Bingo. Like Big Bad Mama, many of these films had strong women that dealt harshly with abusive men.
Roger Corman! Big Bad Mama 1 & 2. 2 is unusual since it has Danielle Brisebois (who was the little girl Stephanie in Norman Lear’s All In The Family) and also Julie McCullough from that awful Growing Pains show). The vibe those girls have is total solidarity. It’s kind of like Manhandlers in a way, which is also exploitation with strong women.
It seems so! Some of these exploitation films were directed by women, such as Doris Wishman, who would insert social commentary, not unlike with blaxploitation. For a girl, the guys were nice, but quite a few of these depicted ramped-up empowered women, which was even nicer. Other than all that jive, it was just kooky dress-up pretend which was fun.

Soft core sexploitation films of the early 70s made it a glorious time to be a pre-teen boy with a drive-in in our neighborhood. The Lone Star, or Porn Star as it was known locally, also showed XXX films all the way up to 1987, a remarkable feat given that we were in the bible belt.

Drive-in diva cinema with Sondra Currie, big sis of Runaways singer Cherie Currie & her twin Marie. Also featuring Anneka Di Lorenzo who played Messalina twice (Messalina 1977 then Caligula 1979), Candy Stripe Nurse Chatterbox Candy Rialson & Mary Stoddard.

Break out role for little Jackie Coogan who grew up to wed Betty Grable, then become Uncle Fester in the Addams Family, as well as Shirley Jones dad in The Partridge Family (after Ray Bolger who was The Scarecrow in The Wizard Of Oz.)
More importantly, Jackie’s parents stole all of his money & he had to take them to court to get his earnings back, leading to landmark legislation that would protect child actors from predatory parents (California Child Actor’s Bill- The Coogan Act). Throughout his life, Charlie Chaplin took care of Jackie & never turned his back on him.

this was awesome show I just found this on freevee on my Roku tv and I loved it not cool that they end a tv show so freaking soon I really wanted more
To say that it’s unfunny is a subjective opinion that, while I disagree, at least could be a valid criticism from your perspective, but ignorant and vain? Nah. Every episode is well-thought-out and meticulously researched. The vain part is just laughable. He is VERY British, which is to say, self-deprecating and humble almost to a fault.
This is the worst. Ignorance. Vanity. Unfunny.

Unusual in that this is one of the last Rita Hayworth films before it was known she had Alzheimer’s. The whole cast is the draw though. It’s Ed Begley sr. last role before he died, and besides Mimsy, also has Robert Walker jr., the son of Jennifer Jones. Most people know him from Easy Rider & as Charlie X from Star Trek. If you want to get really wacky, he also appeared in Time Tunnel & The Invaders.
I remember reading Fahrenheit 451 when I was a teen and thinking it was farfetched and unlikely to ever come to that. Now, I’m not so sure.
it was deplorable behavior and for what, nothing was gained nothing would have been gained. Only lives lost and careers ruined from injuries. The fact that the national guard was just blocks away and didn’t get deployed was so disheartening to watch
And yet protests on college campuses are met with that sort of response
This show is refreshingly bent out of shape, but the tea party with Britt Lower is hall of fame.
after arnie said “screw your freedom”, I will never watch anything he is involved in again..
Good show. Watched season 2 and 3 back to back after giving up on season one and was surprised it got much better. Sometimes fell too much into the cutesy kid stuff and monster of the week to kill time but the last season really came through. Also good when they killed off a main character he stayed dead and didn’t pop up in the end as a brainwashed assassin like I thought they were going to do. I think they shoulda just made the Mandalorian, Obi Wan, Boba Fett and Ashoka shows all animated too. Maybe they would been quality as well.
Saw this last year. Didn’t deliver. A year later it still doesn’t deliver.
I think around episode 4 I realized something out of this world is happening. I was right and episode 6 proved me right.
They need to remove the comedy tag. Seriously, in no way shape or form could this be considered a comedy.
Imagine taking a kids show and turning it into a disgusting college frat house drama where everyone is a bully and vomiting for laughs. This might be the most hate filled re-interpretation of a cartoon I’ve ever seen.
The people who created this show obviously have an agenda here. Are they really going for 100% rage views? Is destroying an established franchise going to get them into some secret Hollywood club? Do the creators have some kind of personal vendetta against Scooby-Doo from their childhood? I really don’t get it.
If your a fan of weird and strange movies then this episode is the episode for you.
Quite possibly the best episode of the series re: the dog scene. Hilarious!
Beetlejuice and Barbara face off again who will win? NJ it was nice to see them in a Rom-Com. It wasn’t the best but it was worth the watch. Now I’m off to watch Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice.
where was it that the rabbi was arrested for “anti semitism” ,, ?? smh
